Full Term!!!

So as of Friday 10/10 I am now considered full term. 37 weeks of being pregnant is long enough... who thought they needed to add on an extra 3 weeks just for the fun of it??

Everything is looking good though and we are still set for the 20th. Eviction papers have been served to Ms. Avery and she knows her time in limited.... She has hopefully been packing her bags. Wednesday is my last day of work. I decided to take 2 days off before she arrives to rest and put my feet up. My poor feet are so swollen they need a break too. I can feel the fluid slosh around when I walk. I know... YUCK.

We are expecting her to weigh around 7.5-8lbs. BIG BABY!!! I will get a final weight on Thursday at my LAST appointment. But everything is ready for her arrival... Even Caleb is ready for her just to be here... He has been practicing changing diapers and making sure I am being quiet for baby's nap time. He puts his baby doll in the crib, shuts the door and will just sit there and peek in every 2-3 minutes. Too cute!!!

Well within the next 6 days we will have become a family of 4. Lets hope we know what we are doing! :)

I have no words!!! My feet have not been visible for atlest 4 months now!

This looks good.... But notice... I no longer have ankles

Its hard to see, but my you can see the indention of my finger in the top of my foot

here you can see my finger imprint... ahhhhhh the joys of pregnancy

36 Weeks

Well this week I will officially be 36 weeks... Although I look as if I am carrying a toddler around in my belly. It feels like it too. According to an ultarsound we had monday Avery's head is down in the birth canal and she is set and ready to go. Sure does make it hard to walk like a noraml human being. I have been walking like a penguin for a little while now.

I had my baby shower this past weekend and it was GREAT!! My mom did an excellent job decorating and putting it together. We had a great turn out and got tons of great gifts. We are now ready for miss priss to make her grand entrance.
C-section date is schedualed for 12:00pm on October 20th. I am counting down the days!!
Caleb is more than ready to be a big brother and I cant wait for him to meet his baby sister for the first time. Although I feel a little sad knowing he will no longer be my baby. Its hard knowing not only will mine and Bryan's world change, we will be turning Caleb's world upside down as well. Hopefully the transition from a family of 3 to 4 will be a smooth one. No turning back now!

32 Weeks

Well as of today I am 32 weeks 3 days! Those 3 days are very important! ;) ... The days seem to creep by, but when I look at the big picture I realize how little time I have left. We have set a birthday for October 24th. I will be 39 weeks, so Im secretly hoping I dont make it that long. I didnt with Caleb. Of course this pregnancy compared to Caleb has been PERFECT! I do have weekly appointments now which seem to take forever!!! I have to sit on the NST machine for about 45 min to an hour.
Sleep has become non existant for me. I cant get comfortable in any position. Even the recliner has failed me! She is laying on my sciatic nerve so I am in TONS of pain all night long. My legs start to go numb after laying or even sitting for long periods. Oh well all I can do is tell myself its almost over!!
So far so good!!! 46 days to go!!

Seeing Ghosts

So last night on the way home from swimming at MiMi's house Caleb gave me quite the little surprise. He was chatting to himself and I just ignored him for a bit thinking he was jibber jabbering like he usually does... But he caught my attention when he asked "whats your name??" He was clearly not speaking to me, but asked him if he was talking to me or not. He said... "No mommy, I'm talking to the man" And he pointed out the window. I didn't immediately think anything and I asked him what who is it. He told me it was a ghost. This is where my heart jumped out my chest. First, he does not know what a ghost is. We have never discussed ghosts with Caleb or what they would look like. Even if he does know something about a Halloween ghost, or say Casper. He described this as a man wearing a hat. He never did give me a name, just kept calling him ghost.

The first person I thought of was my great grandpa who passed away about 8 years ago. I always remember him wearing a hat. Whoever it may have been it obviously did not bother Caleb. But it sure did make my heart skip a beat. I am a very strong believer in the paranormal so I do not believe he was letting his imagination run wild. But I guess only he knows!

29 Weeks

Well Avery and I had a doctors visit yesterday and everything is looking great so far. She is measuring 5 days ahead, which is back down to normal from my 24 week ultrasound where she was measuring 10 days ahead. She weighs 3lbs 4oz and already has fat cheeks just like Caleb did when he was born. I had my glucose test and everything was normal. I also had a non stress test, which is basically where they hook me up to the monitors to monitor her heart rate and see if I am having any contractions. We passed with flying colors ... We are now down to visits every 2 weeks and will get ultrasounds with every visit! YAY!! I got several pictures of her face, which is what you see above.

I am feeling better now. I have actually slept the past 3 nights. I am having to still drink a ton of water to keep myself hydrated, but it is getting easier. So right now I cant complain, but I sure am ready for this to be over. I cant wait to meet my little girl!!!

Caleb is also really excited about being a big brother. He has found himself a baby doll (thanks to MiMi) and he is taking excellent care of her. I found a bottle so he could feed her, and he lets me know when she has a dirty or wet diaper. He is very protective over this baby doll. I cant wait to see how he responds to his sister when she arrives!
